How to fit your blinds

Vertical blinds and Venetian blinds are easy to fit both inside and outside of the window space. The starting point is to measure the area you want to cover.

Inside the window:

Measure the height and the width of the window in 3 different places and take the smallest measurement for both. This ensures that even if your window space isn’t perfectly square, your blind will still fit.

Trim the blind to size. Install the brackets inside the window space using screws, and snap the head rail of your blind securely into place.

Outside the window:

If you want to cover the whole window space, you’ll need to attach the brackets on the wall above the window. Again, you first need to measure the space, leaving enough room on each side of the window (2 or 3 inches) to completely cover the area. Trim the blinds to size and snap the head rail in place once you’re happy that the brackets are level.
