1. Our Aim
1.1 Tony's Textiles Limited (We) are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy.
1.2 This policy sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us. Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it.
1.3 For the purpose of the Data Protection Act 1998 (the Act), the data controller is Tony's Textiles Limited (company number 01615712) registered in England and Wales with registered office address at Holmpton Hall, Holmpton, Withernsea HU19 2QZ and our trading address located at St. James' Mill, 6 – 12 St James' Street, Kingston Upon Hull HU3 2DH. Our VAT number is 168368817.

2. Information we may collect from you
2.1 We may collect and process the following data about you:
2.1.1 Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site www.tonystextiles.co.uk (our site). This includes information provided at the time of registering to use our site, subscribing to our service, posting material or requesting further services. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site.
2.1.2 If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.
2.1.3 We may also ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.
2.1.4 Details of transactions you carry out through our site and of the fulfilment of your orders.
2.1.5 Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, location data, weblogs and other communication data, whether this is required for our own billing purposes or otherwise and the resources that you access.
2.1.6 Payment details in order to process your payments through Paypal or by any other means agreed between you and us.

3. IP Addresses and Cookies
3.1 We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and marketing purposes. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.
3.2 For the same reason, we may obtain information about your general internet usage by using a cookie file which is stored on the hard drive of your computer. Cookies contain information that is transferred to your computer's hard drive. They help us to improve our site and to deliver a better and more personalised service. They enable us:
3.2.1 to estimate our audience size and usage pattern.
3.2.2 to store information about your preferences, and so allow us to customise our site according to your individual interests.
3.2.3 to speed up your searches.
3.2.4 to recognise you when you return to our site.
3.3 You may refuse to accept cookies by activating the setting on your browser which allows you to refuse the setting of cookies. However, if you select this setting you may be unable to access certain parts of our site. 4. Where We store Your Personal Data
4.1 The data that we collect from you through our internet site or over the telephone will be held securely at our trading address located in the UK.
4.2 All information you provide to us online is stored on our secure servers except bank details which are stored and processed through Paypal. Any online payment transactions will be encrypted using Paypal's SSL technology. Where we have given you (or where you have chosen) a password which enables you to access certain parts of our site, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We ask you not to share a password with anyone.
4.3 On confirming your order to us online, you will be redirected to the Paypal website in order to arrange payment to us and you will be asked by Paypal to supply your debit or credit card details. Prior to providing your personal details to Paypal you are recommended to familiarise yourself with Paypal's own privacy policy (which can be obtained by contacting us or Paypal directly). We do not collect or keep records of your credit or debit card when placing orders online through our website.
4.4 Likewise where you wish to place an order over the telephone or any other means, we will collect your credit or debit card details for the purpose of the transaction only and thereafter will destroy our record of your credit or debit card details once the payment has been processed.
4.5 Where you agree to the processing of your payment through Paypal over the telephone, we will supply the relevant credit or debit card details to Paypal in order that the payment may be processed.
4.6 Where at our sole discretion, we agree another means of processing your payment, we again confirm that we will not store your credit or debit card details after the transaction has been completed but will simply provide those details to any credit or debit card authorising system in order to arrange collection of your payment.
4.7 Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet is not completely secure. Although we will do our best to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our site; any transmission is at your own risk. Once we have received your information, we will use strict procedures and security features to try to prevent unauthorised access.

5. Uses Made of the Information
5.1 We use information held about you in the following ways:
5.1.1 to ensure that content from our site is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer.
5.1.2 to provide you with information, products or services that you request from us or which we feel may interest you, where you have consented to be contacted for such purposes.
5.1.3 to carry out our obligations arising from any contracts entered into between you and us.

5.3 If you are a new customer, we will contact you by electronic means and/or by post if you have consented to receiving such marketing information.
5.4 When placing an order online you will be given the opportunity to opt in to receive marketing information on the form on which we collect your data (the order form). If you place an order with us via alternative means we will not send you any marketing information unless you have expressly consented to receiving such information.
5.5 Should you decide at a later date that you no longer wish to receive marketing information, please contact us by email at sales@tonystextiles.co.uk or write to us at our trading address.
5.6 We do not disclose information about identifiable individuals to our advertisers, but we may provide them with aggregate information about our users (for example, we may inform them that 500 men aged under 30 have clicked on our advertisement on any given day). We may also use such aggregate information to help advertisers reach the kind of audience we want to target (for example, women in HU1). We may make use of the personal data we have collected from you to enable us to comply with such wishes by displaying their advertisement to that target audience.

6. Disclosure of Your Information
6.1 We may disclose your personal information to third parties only:
6.1.1 In the event that we sell or buy any business or assets, in which case we may disclose your personal data to the prospective seller or buyer of such business or assets.
6.1.2 If our assets or substantially all of our assets are acquired by a third party, in which case personal data held by us about our customers will be one of the transferred assets.
6.1.3 If we are under a duty to disclose or share your personal data in order to comply with any legal obligation, or in order to enforce our rights or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Tony's Textiles Limited, our customers, or others. This includes exchanging information with other companies and organisations for the purposes of fraud protection and credit risk reduction.
6.1.4 to process your order by providing personal details to our bank and providing your name, address and contact details to any courier appointed by us in order to arrange for delivery of our products to you.
6.1.5 so that we may ensure that we can obtain fraud protection and reduce credit risk although we will seek your permission before we do so.

7. Your Rights
7.1 You have the right to ask us not to process your personal data for marketing purposes. We will usually inform you (before collecting your data) if we intend to use your data for such purposes or if we intend to disclose your information to any third party for such purposes. You can exercise your right to prevent such processing by checking certain boxes on the forms we use to collect your data. 7.2 Our site may, from time to time, contain links to and from the websites of our partner networks, advertisers and affiliates. If you follow a link to any of these websites, please note that these websites have their own privacy policies and that we do not accept any responsibility or liability for these policies. Please check these policies before you submit any personal data to these websites.

8. Access to Information
The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our costs in providing you with details of the information we hold about you.

9. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail.
