Do you need some inspiration on how to design your home this year? Are you wondering which trends are hot for 2015? Or are you simply looking to give your home a change?

Look no further; we at Tony's Textiles have compiled our nine favourite home interior design trends for 2015, and we want to share them with you.

1) Copper Blush

Dulux has recently announced that their colour of the year is 'Copper Blush'. It comes as no surprise, with the UK enjoying a burgeoning love affair with this warm metallic colour.

As the fashion shows of Spring/Summer 2015 have shown, the aesthetically pleasing colour works really well with crisp whites, pink tones or clay inspired neutrals. Copper Blush is the perfect colour to bring a modern look to your home, with its versatility and timelessness.

If you're looking for crisp white features, why not check out our Versailles Luxury Embroidered Quilted Bedspread to compliment Copper Blush?

2) Botanical Garden Designs

It's time to bring wildlife back in the house; more specifically into your living room. Flora, fauna and insect designs are enjoying a huge 'growth' in living room design, and printed botanical designs are now flying off the shelves. It is said that calming green colours are good for the soul as they help you to reconnect with nature in communal living areas.

How about these Woodland Trees Curtains to bring a touch of nature into your home.

3) Grey Is The New Bedroom Colour

It could be coincidence that the popular Fifty Shades of Grey has brought this neutral colour into bedrooms and parlours across the world. It is currently one of the hottest trends in interior design.

Minimalistic, cool and soft toned greys will contrast with and enhance other colours without taking attention away from them. Grey is a colour that is timeless and often referred to as nature's neutral shade. This should be reflected in your bedroom furnishings whether they are bedspreads, cushions or curtains. Perhaps these Sorbonne Charcoal Curtains will help to inspire you as you plan your grey bedroom.

4) Scandinavian Inspired

If you have a yearning for Norway, Sweden or Denmark, you can bring them into your home as Scandinavian designs are one of the top trends for 2015.

Any association with Scandinavia is welcome, whether it is snow, deer, Christmas, or fir trees. A good way to add a touch of Scandinavian inspiration would be to bring in a warm log fireplace. To add to that effect, why not throw on a Nordic inspired blanket like this Alpine Red Quilt Duvet Cover?

5) Distressed Look

What's old is chic again. Furniture that has been around for generations is highly sought after to become feature pieces in homes up and down the country. You can create that distressed look yourself by revamping your old furniture with a base colour, and then sanding where it would naturally get distressed such as corners an d other high traffic areas.

A great place to use the distressed look is in the bathroom. Make your bathroom stand out with the use of boldly coloured furnishings that compliment and contrast with the distressed design. How about using brazen colours for bath mats and towels?

6) Industrial

Appearing more and more on design makeover programmes, the industrial look is a fashionable design to have in your kitchen. You can show off your creativity with pipes, wood beams, brick walls and metal accessories. A must-have in modern homes are metal wall-mounted railings. So how about choosing one of our Ball End Silver Curtain Poles to get you started?

7) Flashes of Blue

Blue is the colour for accessories in your home. Glossy cobalt, dominant turquoises and midnight hues are the shades to aim for as they add statement to your rooms. The perfect way to add boldness to your bedroom is through your bedding. This Blue Detroit Stripe Quilt Cover will certainly stand out against the grey walls of your bedroom.

8) Desert Travel Theme

Every year there is a travel inspired trend. This year, the theme is deserts. It could be the arid and orangey glow of the Sahara Desert which brings warmth to your home. Or perhaps, it could be the scrub land of the Joshua Tree National Park, bringing that Wild West feel. You can accentuate the desert look by including cactus plants, dream catchers or even tribal prints dotted around the room.

These Embroidered Taffeta Panel Curtains will help start your travel inspiration.

9) Geometric Styles

The 1970s are back! Chaotic geometric designs are the order of the decade and it certainly showed during Spring/Summer London Fashion Week. Shapes such as circles, triangles and prisms are thrown together in a mesh of clashing contrasts that really stand out. Remember to calm the geometric designs with neutral blocks of colour, otherwise your eyes will never be the same again!

If you're looking for geometric inspiration, start with our Red Chenille Circle Curtains that will bring a modern take on this 70s trend into your home.
