The first thing that you have to do when measuring for your new Roman blinds is to identify whether your window has a recess and determine whether you would like your blinds to fit inside or outside of this space.
Measuring Width (A to B)
If you would like your blind to fit within the recess measure the width of the recess in three different positions and make a note of the smallest figure. This will be the figure that you need to provide us with.
Measuring Length (C to D)
To determine the length of your blinds simply measure from the top of your recess to the windowsill in three different positions and provide us with the narrowest point.
Installation Height (E to F)
Simply measure from the top of the blind to the floor. Cords and Chains must be installed a minimum of 1.5m from the floor and as near to the headrail as possible for safety purposes.
Measuring Width (A to B)
On the outside of the window (ie exact blind size) simply measure where you would like the blind to sit and supply that measurement.
Measuring Length (C to D)
On the outside of the window (ie exact blind size) simply measure where you would like the blind to hang to and supply that measurement.
Installation Height (E to F)
Simply measure from the top of the blind to the floor. Cords and Chains must be installed a minimum of 1.5m from the floor and as near to the headrail as possible for safety purposes.
