Washing Instructions
The woven design is created with elliptical stitchlines interlocked to give the impression of vertical stripes and the same design is carried through to the delicate net.
You can close the blinds for the night or let the light into your home, this clever design allows you to decide, switching between modern stripes.
The first thing that you have to do when measuring for your new blinds is to identify whether your window has a recess and determine whether you would like your blinds to fit inside or outside of this space.
Measuring Width
If you would like your blind to fit within the recess measure the width of the recess in three different positions and make a note of the smallest figure. This will be the figure that you need to provide us with.
Please note that we will make a small deduction from the width you have entered (usually about 10mm). This is to make sure that your blind fits perfectly within the recess and that it can operate properly within that space.
You do not need to make any deductions yourself when measuring your recess! We will do that for you.
Measuring Length/drop
To determine the length or drop of your blinds simply measure from the top of your recess to the windowsill in three different positions and provide us with the narrowest point.
For vertical blinds we will also deduct 15mm from the drop. This is because for vertical blinds the fabric needs to be lifted from the sill/floor for them to hang beautifully. You do not need to make any deductions yourself when measuring your recess! We will do that for you.
Measuring Width
On the outside of the window (ie exact blind size) simply measure where you would like the blind to sit and supply that measurement.
Measuring Length
On the outside of the window (ie exact blind size) simply measure where you would like the blind to hang to and supply that measurement.
We recommend that your blinds overlap the recess of the window by at least 5cm (2”) on all four sides.
Already have a blind that fits perfectly? Simply measure its width and drop and provide those measurements.
Personalise these blinds to your home even more by choosing your preferred control position. This is a free of charge option.
Make sure that your chosen control position gives you access to operate your blinds easily. Consider the blind's proximity to furniture, doors, plants and other elements around your home.
There are two ways of measuring the width for an exact fitting roller blind:
Fabric width
Choose this option if you are measuring the fabric of an existing blind (or if you are measuring the area you would like the fabric to cover). Please note that the bracket will add approximately 35-40mm extra to the overall size of your blind.
Bracket to bracket
Choose this option if you are measuring an existing blind from bracket to bracket or if you are measuring the space where you would like your brackets to sit. Please be aware that in this case the actual width of the fabric will be approximately 35-40mm narrower than this measurement.
